How to create new events using the event form

Creating a New Event

  1. Go to Events in the sidebar
  2. Click New Event
  3. Fill in the event details:
    • Title — The name shown to customers (e.g. “Sunday Sporting”)
    • Type — Select the event type (Shooting competition, Training, Practice, etc.)
    • Date & Time — When the event takes place
    • Capacity — Maximum number of slots available (leave blank for unlimited)
    • Price — Full price per slot in pence
    • Deposit — Optional deposit amount collected at booking
    • Payment Mode — Choose between full payment, deposit only, or free
  4. Click Create Event

Event Options

Booking Controls

  • Max slots per booking — Limit how many slots a single customer can book
  • Booking deadline — Set a cutoff time before the event when bookings close
  • Publish at — Schedule when the event becomes visible for booking
  • Balance reminder days — How many days before the event to send balance payment reminders

Scoring

  • Total targets — Set the total number of targets for score tracking
  • Classification thresholds — Define score ranges for A, B, C classifications (or use your venue defaults)
  • Stands — Configure individual stands with names and shot counts

Slot Mode

Enable Slot Mode for events that run across multiple time slots (e.g. practice sessions). This lets customers book a specific date and time rather than a single event date. See Slots & Scheduling for details.

Review Emails

By default, customers receive a review prompt email after their event. You can disable this per event by toggling Review emails disabled.
