Slots & Scheduling

Configure time-based booking slots, schedules, and blackout dates

What is Slot Mode?

Slot mode is for events that run across multiple time slots rather than a single fixed date. Examples include practice sessions, training bookings, or any event where customers choose a specific date and time.

When slot mode is enabled, customers pick an available slot during booking instead of just booking the event.

Enabling Slot Mode

  1. Go to the event edit page
  2. Toggle Slot Mode on
  3. Configure the booking window (start and end dates for when slots are available)
  4. Set up a schedule (see below)
  5. Save the event

Configuring a Schedule

The schedule defines when slots are available on a recurring basis.

  1. Open the event edit page
  2. In the Schedule section, configure:
    • Which days of the week slots are available
    • Start and end times for each day
    • Slot duration and capacity
  3. Click Save Schedule

Slots are automatically generated based on your schedule configuration.

Generating Slots

After saving a schedule, slots are generated for the booking window period. The system creates individual bookable time slots based on your schedule rules.

You can view generated slots for the next 30 days on the event edit page.

Blackout Dates

Blackout dates let you block specific dates from having any available slots. Use these for bank holidays, private bookings, or maintenance days.

Adding a Blackout Date

  1. Open the event edit page
  2. Scroll to Blackout Dates
  3. Select the date to block
  4. Click Add Blackout Date

Removing a Blackout Date

  1. Find the blackout date in the list
  2. Click Remove

The date immediately becomes available again for bookings.
