Email Branding

Customise your venue's email appearance with colours, logos, and footer text

Accessing Email Settings

Go to Settings > Email Preview from the sidebar, or navigate directly to /app/settings/email-preview.

Branding Options

Customise how your emails look to customers:

Primary Colour

The main brand colour used for the email header background and action buttons. Enter a hex colour code (e.g. #16a34a). Use the colour picker or type the value directly.

Secondary Colour

Used for the footer background. Typically a light, neutral colour that complements your primary colour. Default is #f3f4f6 (light grey).

Footer Text

An optional line of text shown at the bottom of every email, above the “Powered by Clay Ledger” line. Use this for your venue address, phone number, or a short tagline.

Previewing Emails

The preview panel shows exactly how your emails will appear to recipients. Click any email type from the list on the left to see it with your current branding.

Email types are grouped by category:

  • Booking — Confirmation, cancellation, refund, reminders
  • Slots — Invitations and reminders for timed slot participants
  • Members — Welcome, lapsed payment, cancellation
  • Gift Cards — Purchase confirmation, delivery, redemption
  • Results — Score results and review requests
  • Account — Welcome, sign-in links, password reset
  • Venue — Venue welcome and team invitations
  • Contact — Contact form and onboarding confirmations

How Emails Are Sent

All emails are sent from Clay Ledger ([email protected]). Your venue branding appears visually in the email body — the header shows your venue name and logo, and the footer includes your custom text. Every email includes “Powered by Clay Ledger” at the bottom.

Logo support is coming soon. Your venue logo will appear in the email header above your venue name.
